[Lamar Hall, rapping] |
Listen, I ain't never been one for games |
I put the pen to the paper, watch it go up in flames |
Got a sick reputation for exposing lames |
Layin' down like a fool, split before my jams |
I don't need to take a breather, nor need to explain |
That I'm the man, you stuck in some growing pains |
The flow, put your motherfucking pride to shame |
Slide the frame, no doubt |
I'm a rider, man |
I'm the savior for those who say they need hope |
Charismatic and crass, the epitome of dope |
Part my lips to speak |
I say, and I quote, |
I'm the shit, I dare another rapper come close |
So, take a dose of this verbal dextrose |
Got a radical approach |
Known to swell up in your throats |
Now you- can't speak as you try to say the notes |
Put the money on the table |
Not the net, but the gross, no questions |
[Adrienne Cowan, singing] |
Lock me away |
Trap me inside |
Shackle me, try to hold me here |
I'll have freedom or I'll die |
Trying |
[Lamar, rapping] |
See, this is rhyme wizardry |
I shine vividly |
With those flows that put foes in misery |
I got a litany, |
A cornucopia of ways to display this hardcore energy |
Better watch any shade you send at me |
Offending me is only gonna lead to a penalty |
Filled to the max with a poetic symmetry |
I pack more bars than a fucking penitentiary |
This ain't a sport, this is all out combat |
One rap, known to explode on contact |
Care to engage in a duel? Sign a contract |
It'll end quick once I show you where these arms at |
Study your psalms, your scriptures again |
You'll soon understand I'm original sin |
The villain, when I'm in it I'm in it to win |
I said it before, I won't say it again, no questions |
[Adrienne, singing] |
Lock me away |
Trap me inside |
Shackle me, try to hold me here |
I'll have freedom or I'll die |
Trying |
Lock me away |
Trap me inside |
Shackle me, try to hold me here |
I'll have freedom or I'll die |
Trying |
